Application and Removal
Permanent vinyl is ideal for projects that need to weather the storm, from mailboxes to cars to mugs, to outdoor signage and more. It's a water-resistant and UV-resistant film with an adhesive that can last for up to 3 years.
Application
- Make sure your project surface is clean and dry. Carefully place the transfer tape with vinyl images onto your surface how you would like them to appear.
- Now burnish the transfer tape onto the surface, starting in the center and moving out toward the edges. Use a vinyl applicator scraper or a credit card.
- Peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl at a 45-degree angle. If the vinyl sticks to the transfer tape, simply burnish the vinyl onto the surface again. Then continue to peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl.
Removing permanent vinyl can be done with a few simple steps. Here are some methods you can try:

Adhesive Remover Method:
- Apply a small amount of adhesive remover (such as Goo Gone) to a clean cloth.
- Gently rub the adhesive remover onto the vinyl, focusing on one small area at a time.
- Allow the adhesive remover to penetrate the adhesive for a few minutes.
- Using a plastic scraper or credit card, gently lift the loosened vinyl from the surface.

Heat and Peel Method:
- Soften the vinyl with heat using a hairdryer or heat gun.
- Once the vinyl is warm, carefully peel it off the surface.
- Remove any adhesive residue left behind using an adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol.
- Clean the surface thoroughly afterward.
Sizes and Pricing
I base my pricing on size of decals longest side. Whether it be taller or wider. Keep in mind that the normal size for a decal is approximately 6 to 8 inches. Each decal will come with a transparent transfer tape for application. Application instructions are listed on the above INFO section
